"Brain-Machine Interface" Created by Honda Scientists

First of all, I am not making this up. Second, this is really cool. Third, the singularity is near.

Some scientists who work for Honda in Tokyo have invented a device that makes it possible for a person's brain signals from a mri machine to be used to control a robot's movements. In a demonstration they had a person make a fist, spread her fingers, etc....then the robot did the same things - all based on patterns of synapses firing in the human's brain. I'm telling you, the future contains a lot of science fiction...can you imagine what this kind of thing will become once it is more refined and powerful? I think either heaven or hell is fast approaching.
